Hi,

We have a requirement from one of our customers(ODM) to build Digital instrument cluster with hypervisor support which will run Android IVI.

Jacinto 6 based DRA 75x could be our target platform with Linux as base. We will use J6 EVM to start with and work towards having a custom board on J6.

We have been doing analysis from the last one week and we now know that a type 1 hypervisor (like Xen) would work well handling Linux and Android IVI. There are no set of instructions regarding porting(We could only find for OMAP5, which is base for J6).

It would be of great help to know the following :

1) What are the modifications done in Xen to support J6(A high level details, effort/time needed to port, would be of great help)

2) Can we take the Omap5 xen patches and take it forward to port on J6?(I am not sure how stable xen port for OMAP5 is)
Since OMAP5 and J6 are A15 based and J6 is derived out of OMAP5, I am assuming that many things will come handy while porting xen on J6.

thanks,

prabhuraj
