    Thank you Russ for you answer. Actually I am using a wired internet connection. The problem is repeted with a debian desktop version also. I have been blocked for 2 days now in the same issue. My ifconfig shows only the lo however the lspci shows the ethernet card. I don't really know how to solve it....
