When I attempt to create a VM with sudo xen-create-image --hostname hdgh02 --ip 10.1.1.4 --vcpus 1 --pygrub --dist wheezy --force I get the following.

Running command 'mount -t ext3 -o loop /home/xen/domains/hdgh02/disk.img /tmp/PLGFtHnhVG/ 2>&1' failed with exit code 512.
Aborting
See /var/log/xen-tools/hdgh02.log for details
/tmp/PLGFtHnhVG/etc/ssh/ssh_host_rsa_key.pub: No such file or directory
Running command 'umount /tmp/PLGFtHnhVG/proc 2>&1' failed with exit code 256.
Aborting
See /var/log/xen-tools/hdgh02.log for details
s98259@hdvh01:~$ ls
s98259@hdvh01:~$ sudo umount /tmp/PLGFtHnhVG/proc 2>&1
umount: /tmp/PLGFtHnhVG/proc: not found

What have I done wrong and how do I fix?

    What does /var/log/xen-tools/hdgh02.log contain?

It looks like you don't have ssh keys set up, but that may be the result of an earlier error. Check the log file above.

    Done
mount: could not find any free loop device
    Running command 'mount -t ext3 -o loop /home/xen/domains/hdgh05/disk.img /tmp/eEDsCorwOR/ 2>&1' failed with exit code 512.
    Aborting
    umount: /tmp/eEDsCorwOR/proc: not found
Running command 'umount /tmp/eEDsCorwOR/proc 2>&1' failed with exit code 256.
    Aborting

Problem is... I checked the loop devices and non of them are mounted which means they are obviously free!

What version of Xen Project software are you running? With which Linux/BSD distribution and version for Domain-0? Was the hypervisor installed from the RPMs/DEBs which came with Linux/BSD, or did you install the Xen Project software from a different source (e.g., sourcecode kit, etc.)?

Domain-0 is running Debian Wheezy. I also use Debian Wheezy for the VMs. I am 4.3.1 of xen-tools according to --version. I installed the debian packages.
